2019-06-08 - Mount Tammany
This was supposed to be an EverWanderWhy hike led by me but I couldn't sleep the previous night and had to cancel. The others hiked it without me but I went to the Delaware Water Gap with my family anyway and did a shorter version instead. I had never hiked up Mount Tammany before and was excited to do it with my parents and brother. The views were amazing.
At the top, I left my parents and continued on, doing a longer hike without them. I headed north to the Sunfish Pond and back south on the Appalachian Trail to lunch with my family at the parking lot.
Overall, I hiked about 11 miles and 2200 feet elevation gain in a total of 5 hours.
