2015-04-19 - Old Croton Aqueduct Walk II - Part II
We walked on the trail northward for a while and then veered off to see the Hudson River Museum, a complex with 6 art galleries featuring American art from the 19th century to the present. The museum's name is to acknowledge one of the main aims of the museum: to document the Hudson Valley.
We walked past so many interesting, beautiful homes.
That red umbrella reminded me of Le Ballon rouge.
Some scenes of the palisades looked almost fake.
We then turned and passed over the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail to walk along South Broadway Ave to head to Untemeyer, the highlight of the trip.
